Scarborough (Feb 28)- United Way’s Greater Toronto chapter is a hosting a job fair in Scarborough tomorrow featuring Bank of Montreal (BMO), Michael Garron Hospital, The Daniels Corporation, Sun Life, and many other local employers.
Part of the Inclusive Local Economic Opportunity (ILEO) initiative, the hiring fair brings together the private, public, and non-profit sectors with community organizations to find ways of reducing gaps in economic prosperity at the neighbourhood level. Twenty employers, including those mentioned above, will be conducting interviews on site.
The job fair is being held at Centennial College (Ashtonbee Campus Cafeteria) from 8:30 am to 3 pm on Thursday, February 29.
This United Way initiative is in partnership with ACCES Employment, and the Centre for Inclusive Economic Opportunity, Golden Mile (CIEO).
