Top national leaders of the BJP and Congress will campaign in Rajasthan on Wednesday for elections to 199 Assembly constituencies, scheduled on November 25.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan BJP National President J. P. Nadda, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi will be in the desert state for campaigning.
Besides, Rajasthan Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot, respectively, Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala, former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje, BJP State President C.P. Joshi, respectively will hold public meetings and road shows in support of their respective party candidates.
Prime Minister Modi will address the public meeting in Kotri, Bhilwara at 11.30 a.m. Later, he will address a public meeting in Sagwara in support of BJP candidates from Dungarpur, Banswara, Udaipur and Pratapgarh districts.
Amit Shah will address the public meeting at Akeliya Farm House, Jaitaran at 9.30 a.m. After this he will address a public meeting in Jalore.
Rajnath Singh will address the Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Khairwada, Udaipur at 11.30 a.m. He will also address the public meeting in Jhadol at 2.00 p.m. and Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Sirohi at 3.00 p.m.
Adityanath will address the Vijay Sankalp Sabha at 11.50 a.m, he will persuade the voters of Jodhpur, Sursagar and Sardarpura seats in favour of BJP. Later, he will address Vijay Sankalp Sabha at Nokha in Bikaner at 1.05 p.m., in Deedwana at 1.40 p.m., at Ratangarh in Churu at 2.20 p.m. and at Tijara in Alwar at 3.20 p.m.
Shivraj Singh Chauhan will address the public meeting from Hindauli for Deoli-Uniara at 12.00 noon.
Nadda will address a public meeting in Dataramgarh, Sikar at 10 a.m. in support of BJP candidate Gajanand Kumawat.
In terms of Congress workers meetings, Rahul Gandhi will address the public meeting at Maniya in Rajkheda at 12.00 noon. After this, he will address a public meeting in Nadbai at 1.30 p.m. and Gangapur City at 3.00 pm.
Priyanka Gandhi will address a public meeting in Churu at 12.30 p.m. After this, she will address a public meeting in Shahpura at 2 p.m.
Gehlot will address a public meeting at 12.00 noon in support of Congress candidate Niranjan Arya in the ground located near Marudhar Kesari Road in Sojat.
Pilot will address public meetings at Sangriya-Hanumangarh at 10 a.m., Mundawar-Khairthal at 12.45 pm, Shahpura-Jaipur Rural at 2.00 p.m. and Shrimadhopur-Neemkathana at 3.15 p.m.
Chautala will address a public meeting in Hendon at 12.00 noon in support of candidate Gayatri Chautala.
