Peel police issues public alert after a series of shootings in Mississauga

Mississauga (Mar 5) – Peel police issued a public alert while asking for assistance regarding a series of shootings in Mississauga.

Since the beginning of March, two early morning shooting incidents have been reported at a retail establishment in the area of Lakeshore Road and Mississauga Road, police said in a news release. Investigators located numerous shell casings at the scene, and there was significant damage to the property as a result of the shootings.

No injuries were reported in either incident, and there is no suspect information.

Peel police is asking the public to be safe and aware of these incidents, and are appealing for public assistance in this ongoing investigation.
