The team carried out searches at the house and farmhouse of Imran, who is currently lodged in jail.

“Members of SUFA were caught by the team of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh Police. During this. their Ratlam connection came to fore. Later more than half a dozen persons were arrested by the STF of MP and Rajasthan Police in March last year,” said a source.

Last year, the NIA also inquired about the arrested persons with the local police after alleged terror funding was found. They then also took over the case. Later, a charge sheet was filed against 11 persons by the NIA before a special court.
