Numerous search warrants by Peel police resulted in drug and firearm seizures from several homes across the Greater Toronto. Several men have also been arrested and face multiple charges.
Police say officers from the Specialized Enforcement Bureau commenced an investigation in March, dubbed Project Hustle, into the trafficking of narcotics in the Region of Peel and across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
On Wednesday, August 9, investigators, with the assistance of uniform patrol officers, executed search warrants on six residences across the GTA, resulting in over $400,000 worth of drugs seized and a loaded 9mm Smith & Wesson handgun.
Vincent Nguyen (27) from Etobicoke, Justin Nguyen (29) from Mississauga, Jordan Hoivik (20) from Richmond Hill, Sajan Pathmanathan (32) from Mississauga and Stevin Thai (20) from Richmond Hill are charged with several offenses.
