Brampton (Feb 5) – A 20-year-old man from Brampton has been arrested and charged with multiple voyeurism incidents at a recreation centre. Peel police investigators believe there may be other victims and are urging them to come forward.
In December 2023 and January 2024, an employee at a recreation centre in the area of Eastbourne Drive and Balmoral Drive in Brampton followed numerous women into the washroom. One victim reported that he was caught filming her, police said in a news release.
On Tuesday, January 30, a search warrant was executed at a residence in Brampton, resulting in the arrest of Michael Nicolas. He was held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton and has been charged with eight counts of Voyeurism.
Investigators are other victims, if any, to come forward.
