Brampton man dies of injuries sustained in violent Mississauga carjacking

Peel police are asking for the public’s assistance after the victim of a violent carjacking in Mississauga succumbed to his injuries.

As previously reported, on July 9 at 2:10 a.m., a food delivery driver, was working in the area of Britannia Road and Creditview Road, in Mississauga. Upon arriving at the delivery address, the victim was confronted by unknown suspects who attempted to take his vehicle when a physical altercation occurred. The unknown suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle leaving the victim at the side of the road with life-threatening injuries. The victim was transported to a trauma center where on July 14, 2023 he succumbed to his injuries.

The victim has been identified as Gurvinder Nath a 24 year old man from Brampton.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage to contact Homicide and Missing Persons Bureau at 905-453-3311, extension 3410.
