Shubenacadie Sam, the beloved Nova Scotio groundhog gave his Canadian pal Willie the thumbs up as he too predicted an early spring.
South of the border, Punxsutawney Phil, the famed Philadelphia groundhog agreed with Wiarton Willie and Shubenacadie Sam, having not seen his shadow on Friday morning, CNN reported.
And if you’re wondering how accurate these predictions are?
Shubenacadie Sam has an accuracy rate of about 45%, according to Day, compared to 39% for Punxsutawney Phil and 25% for Wiarton Willie.
