Mississauga Library is hosting its first Human Library event where indivuals can meet new people, hear their life stories and be a part of the conversation.

The Human Library® is, as the name suggests, a library of people who serve as open books from a curated collection of topics.

Organizers say that the event creates a safe space to connect with individuals in their community whom they might not normally engage with, where topics can be discussed openly between ‘human books’ and their readers.

Mississauga’s first Human Library will have various titles to choose from during the following sessions:

  • 11:00 a.m. – 11:25 a.m.
  • 11:30 a.m. – 11:55 a.m.
