Summerlicious starts today at more than 200 participating restaurants across Toronto and will be on till Sunday, July 23.

The summer food festival offers three-course prix fixe menus priced between $20 to $55 for lunch and $25 to $75 for dinner.

Councillor Shelley Carroll (Don Valley North), Chair of the Economic and Community Development Committee, was joined by Councillor Chris Moise (Toronto Centre) and Chef Adam Lafleur at the new Summerlicious participating restaurant Constantine at 15 Charles St. E. to kick off Toronto’s summer foodie event.

The City says that this year the Summerlicious webpage can be filtered by prix fixe menus to find gluten-free options. Among the participating restaurants 35 per cent are offering three-course gluten-free meals, while more than 70 per cent are providing three-course vegetarian meals and nearly 20 per cent are featuring three-course vegan options as part of their Summerlicious prix fixe menus.

A complete list of participating restaurants is available on the City of Toronto’s Summerlicious webpage. Reservations are strongly recommended and can be made directly with the participating dining establishments. Some participating restaurants do not offer a lunch prix fixe menu on Saturday or Sunday.

This year’s Summerlicious program continues to support the recovery and revival of Toronto’s restaurants while providing the enticing experiences and delectable food that restaurant-goers have come to expect from the popular Summerlicious program.
