Oakville (Jan 16) – Halton police have arrested four teenagers in connection with an armed robbery that took place in Oakville on Monday evening.
On January 15 at around 7:30pm, police responded to an armed pharmacy robbery in the area of Westoak Trails and Bronte Road in Oakville. Four masked male suspects entered the business, brandished a handgun and assaulted two female employees inside, police said in a news release.
All four made good their escape after obtaining a quantity of narcotics and an undisclosed quantity of cash. Halton police located the vehicle and occupants and attempted to stop them, however the vehicle fled and a pursuit was initiated.
The pursuit continued a short distance before all involved parties were ultimately arrested.
Three youths (14-16yrs) and one adult (18yrs) have been charged with several robbery, weapons, and driving offences.
