A 15-year-old male student has been arrested in connection with a bomb threat made to a high school in Mississauga last month.
On Thursday, November 30, at 8:28 a.m., a local high school in south Mississauga received a bomb threat on their school telephone system. Police said that they determined the threat to be unfounded.
Last Friday, December 8, a 15-year-old male student of the school was arrested and charged with one count of Public Mischief. He will appear at a Brampton court at a later date.
Police did not name the student as a general provision of the Youth Criminal Justice Act (Y.C.J.A.) prohibits the release of the name of a Young Person.
