COLOMBO
India set 141-run target for Australia in their first T20 super eight match. Suresh Raina (26) in 19 balls was the last man to be dismissed.
Harbhajan Singh (1) and R Ashwin (16) remained unbeaten. After three quick wickets, India lose skipper MS Dhoni, who managed to make just 15 runs.
India are 115 for the loss of six wickets at the end of 17 overs. Suresh Raina (15) and R Ashwin (5) are on the crease.
Yuvraj Singh (8), Irfan Pathan (30) and Rohit Sharma (1) got out in quick succession to leave India five down.
Virat Kohli was the second wicket to go for India as he was caught on the bowling of Pat Cummins by Daniel Christian. He made 15 runs on 12 balls. India are 66 for the loss of two wickets at the end of 9 overs.
England got their first wicket as Gautam Gambhir was run out after scoring 17 runs 12 balls.
Earlier, India won the toss and elected to bat first against Australia in their first Super Eight match in the Twenty20 world cup in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
India have replaced Ashok Dinda and Laxmipathi Balaji with Zaheer Khan and Ravichandran Aswhin.
Virender Sehwag continues to remain on the sidelines. Gautam Gambhir will open with Irfan Pathan.
Australia have not made any change to their side.
